Job summary

Chicago Flyhouse in Chicago, IL is seeking a Project Supervisor to lead on-site rigging installation crews across entertainment, arenas, and architectural environments. This full-time, salaried role is based at our Chicago headquarters and requires frequent travel.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading rigging teams (union and non-union), read technical drawings, and coordinate with fabrication, automation, and project management to meet safety, schedule, and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading rigging installation crews (union or non-union).
• Proficient reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Willing to travel up to 80% (domestic and international).
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work with clients and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite teams on installation projects across rigging systems.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on safety, schedule, quality.
• Coordinate with fabrication shop for delivery and installation.
• Prepare pack lists and coordinate procurement with PM.
• Work with Automation to implement motorized systems.
• Manage multiple installations and prioritize needs.
• Document and revise technical drawings from site findings.
• Represent the company in client meetings and site visits.
• Participate in in-house fabrication and planning between installations.
