Job summary

Air Transport International in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Maintenance Representative to oversee overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and avionics, ensuring compliance with FAA and Company procedures to return the aircraft to service.

You will sign for work, supervise contractors at remote sites, monitor safety, stock SPK parts, coordinate with flight crews, and travel as needed to support missions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years, proven line maintenance experience on 767/757 aircraft.
• Shall hold a valid Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a).
• Must successfully complete a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check.
• Ability to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers; stand, bend, and reach to maintain files; sit for extended periods; and comply with ATI attendance requirements.
• Shall have a valid passport, and Driver's License.
• Ability to travel as the needs of the airline dictates (may require travel up to 3 weeks per month).

Responsibilities

• Oversee overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and aircraft communications equipment per Company and manufacturer manuals.
• Sign for work accomplished and supervise other individuals/contractors at remote locations; buy-back work if required.
• Ensure safety of the aircraft and compliance with FAA and Company procedures.
• Maintain SPK stock and ensure materials/parts are available to support scheduled missions.
• Keep Maintenance Control informed of aircraft status and provide log copies as required.
