Job summary

Air Transport International is seeking a Maintenance Representative to oversee the overhaul, maintenance and repair of aircraft at remote locations. You will sign off on work, supervise contractors, and ensure FAA compliance to keep missions running safely.

A valid A&P license, HS diploma, and willingness to travel up to three weeks monthly are required. Responsibilities include ensuring spare parts readiness, coordinating with flight crews, and reporting to Maintenance Control.

Qualifications

• Three years of proven line maintenance experience on 767/757 aircraft.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.
• Shall hold a valid Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a).
• Passport and Driver's License required.
• Ability to travel as airline needs (up to 3 weeks per month).

Responsibilities

• Oversee overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components and powerplants per manuals to return aircraft to service.
• Sign for work performed and supervise contractors at remote sites, buying back work if needed.
• Ensure safety and compliance with FAA and company procedures at all times.
• Monitor SPK stocked and ensure required materials are available for missions.
• Coordinate with flight crew and procurement for remote maintenance services.
• Keep Maintenance Control apprised of aircraft status and report completed logs.
• Operate with minimal supervision and follow directions from Maintenance Control when needed.
• Perform housekeeping to keep aircraft clean and presentable during missions.
• Assume Maintenance Supervisor duties at sites with mechanics when required.
• Report to Director of Quality Control under RII provisions and attend training classes.
