Job summary

Everest Global Services, Inc. is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to support pricing, exposure analysis, and portfolio management for our international book of business. You will collaborate with underwriters and the Solutions team to develop and test new reinsurance pricing models.

The role requires actuarial, math, or science training with data manipulation skills and 1–5 years of P&C pricing experience. Fluency in Spanish/Portuguese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Actuarial, Math or Science related degree with excellent computer/data manipulation skills.
• 1-5 years of P&C actuarial pricing experience; reinsurance a plus.
• Demonstrated progress towards an actuarial designation by a recognized body.
• Experience in project work and tool development.
• Ideally has line of business experience in Latin America, Caribbean and/or Middle Eastern markets.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with underwriting and management to support our international book of business; collaborate on technical assessments and exposure analysis.
• Perform actuarial pricing analyses, lines of business studies, profitability reviews, portfolio management, and ad-hoc modeling.
• Develop and test new models related to reinsurance pricing with the Solutions team; improve existing models.
• Work with other actuaries across International branches to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices; support global reinsurance pricing teams as needed.
