Deutsche Bank is seeking a Business Risk Control Analyst in Mumbai to strengthen governance, regulatory reporting, and risk controls for the Private Bank. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting, issue tracking, and remediation of control gaps, while advancing regulatory compliance across global franchises.

The role requires a University degree, strong English communication, and experience in governance and risk management within financial services.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of governance frameworks, control environments, attestation processes, and risk management practices.
• Proven experience in Regulatory Reporting, Governance, Risk Control, Compliance, Operational Risk, Audit, or Financial Services Operations.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance obligations within banking/financial services.
• Experience on small to medium scale projects in a global environment.
• Experience in preparing management information reports and presenting governance metrics to stakeholders.
• University degree.

Responsibilities

• Support Regulatory Reporting and COI governance activities across the Private Bank.
• Maintain Regulatory Reporting inventories, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely updates.
• Coordinate local/global attestations, annual self-assessments, and control reviews.
• Support identification, assessment, escalation, management, and monitoring of Conflicts of Interest.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on regulatory reporting and conflict management requirements.
• Execute periodic controls to validate governance frameworks and policies.
• Track governance issues, control gaps, and remediation actions for timely resolution.
• Prepare and analyse Management Information (MI) reports, dashboards, and governance metrics for senior management.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and governance forums through accurate reporting and documentation.
• Drive continuous process improvements to strengthen governance, controls, and regulatory compliance.
