Job summary

Vylor Inc. is seeking a Regulatory Molecular Sciences Leader to provide scientific and strategic leadership for biotechnology and gene-edited traits within the Global Regulatory Sciences team.

You will guide regulatory strategy, mentor experts, and coordinate with regulators, industry groups, and internal stakeholders to advance product development and commercialization. The role combines people leadership, technical leadership, regulatory strategy, and external engagement to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Plant Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field; 10 years in molecular sciences for agriculture or regulated sector.
• Proven leadership to develop strategies, manage performance, and deliver regulatory goals.
• Experience interacting with global regulatory jurisdictions and understanding plant biotech regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead global regulatory science team to develop methodologies, conduct studies, and address regulatory questions for molecular sciences in Vylor products.
• Co-lead global regulatory strategies aligned with business objectives; balance workloads across portfolio.
• Oversee development, validation, and implementation of molecular characterization and detection methods per regulatory standards.
• Lead regulatory advocacy with regulators to align rapid tech advances with regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with external labs, research institutions, and regulatory authorities worldwide.
