Job summary

BD is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Strategist, Globalization, to lead worldwide regulatory strategies across BU, Regional and Central teams from its Franklin Lakes, NJ headquarters. The role emphasizes governance, standardization, and global process implementation to enable compliant growth and market access.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in science/engineering, 8+ years in medical devices with 5+ in Regulatory Affairs, and willingness to travel about 25% globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or technology required.
• Minimum 8 years in medical device industry, with at least 5 years in Regulatory Affairs.
• Master’s degree in business, management, or technology related field preferred.
• RAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide centralized regulatory governance for registration assessment processes.
• Interpret global regulatory requirements and guide Business Units and Regions.
• Develop and standardize global regulatory registration assessments for consistency.
• Partner with Business Units to implement global regulatory processes.
• Coordinate across Regions and Central RA for eIPRRA processes.
• Harmonize key RA operations and improve communication channels.
