Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dynamic, organized self-starter to manage new region builds across the globe. Your primary responsibility will be supporting AWS global expansion as a technical program manager supporting new AWS region builds.

You will work with Service Teams, Infrastructure and Product Teams to design solutions and deliver regions on a timely schedule. Successful candidates will have a strong technical background, be detail oriented, and have excellent problem solving

Qualifications

5+ years of software development experience.
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

Manage new region builds across the globe.
Support AWS global expansion as a technical program manager.
Collaborate with Service Teams, Infrastructure and Business Development to design and deliver new AWS regions.
Develop schedules to ensure timely launch of new regions and balance business needs with technical constraints.
