Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Director, Real Estate to lead the firm’s global real estate strategy and portfolio. The role drives occupancy strategy, workplace design standards, and governance across regions, partnering with Workplace Operations for execution.

You will define and lead a new global real estate organization, manage external partners, and use data-driven insights to guide capital decisions with strong executive communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, architecture/engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of corporate real estate experience, including portfolio strategy and transactions oversight.
• Experience leading a partner-led delivery model (brokerage, design, and construction vendors).
• Strong financial acumen for capital planning and project economics.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the global real estate strategy, portfolio plan, and occupancy strategy.
• Build and lead a new global real estate organization with regional reach.
• Set workplace design standards and guardrails across the portfolio.
• Establish real estate governance, data, and analytics for decisions.
• Oversee transactions strategy and external partner relationships.
• Manage an outsource delivery model and ensure performance.
• Own the global design standards and ensure projects are on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop metrics and dashboards for occupancy cost, utilization, and capital project performance.
