Job summary

RBC Real Estate Capital Partners (RECP) seeks a seasoned real estate professional to oversee North American and Australian loan books, focusing on exposure supervision and active loan position management. You will work with the originations team and maintain relationships with clients in the US, Australia, and Canada, coordinating with RBC partners in Toronto and NY.

The role requires 6+ years in CRE, strong analytics, and the ability to lead a small Dallas-based team within a global bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 6+ years in the commercial real estate sector
• Robust verbal and written presentation capabilities
• Excellent data management and Excel cash flow modelling skills
• Argus experience
• Self-motivated, with ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet tight timelines
• Willingness and ability to travel

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead strategic initiatives to enhance and optimize the asset management platform
• Active monitoring of the RECP Dallas loan portfolio and engagement with stakeholders
• Provide direction and assistance to asset management Analysts / Associates
• Analyze and approve key deal-level decisions including lease approvals
• Coordinate potential facility modifications
• Contribute to portfolio review and analysis presentations (revenue forecasts, stress tests, exposure analyses)
• Lead Asset Management Updates with qualitative and quantitative analysis
• Oversee third party loan servicers and internal RBC teams in monitoring covenants and performance
• Interact with borrowers for regular performance updates on collateral
• Participate in site inspections and evaluate capital work progress
• Prepare co-lender reporting packages and manage information requests
• Manage external and internal reviews of the loan portfolio
