Job summary

Netflix is seeking an experienced Real Estate & Legal Affairs attorney to join our internal Corporate Legal Team. This role focuses on handling real estate matters and providing counseling across property topics in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

You will provide strategic advice on global real estate acquisitions, development, leasing, construction, and facilities management, with strong knowledge of U.S. real estate law and international regimes. Based in LA or NY with VP reporting.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of deep experience in commercial real estate matters.
• Bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Experience with redevelopment projects, zoning, and large-scale acquisitions is a plus.
• Top-tier law firm and in-house experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead real estate legal counseling across the company.
• Negotiate and draft corporate office and studio leases.
• Advise on site development and land use, including zoning and permits.
• Assess legal and operational risks of global expansion and site selection.
• Lead real estate due diligence in Corporate Development, M&A, and board-level projects.
• Coordinate with Portfolio Management and other teams on landlord-tenant matters.
