Job summary

Hudson River Trading (HRT) in New York City is seeking a Global Real Estate Lead to oversee a global office portfolio, drive strategy, leasing, design, and fit-outs across US, EMEA, and APAC. The role requires end-to-end project management, strategic thinking, and a player-coach leadership approach.

The successful candidate will lead market research, negotiate leases, manage budgets, and coordinate architects, brokers, and contractors while aligning with the company culture and employee

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial real estate managing a multi-region portfolio
• 7+ years leading global teams in consensus-driven environments
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and stakeholder alignment
• Proven track record negotiating leases and managing large budgets
• Experience with senior stakeholders in fast-paced settings
• Deep knowledge of MEP, security, and networking systems

Responsibilities

• Inspire, mentor, and elevate a global real estate team
• Drive market research for opportunities across US, EMEA, APAC
• Develop and execute cross-regional leasing strategies and negotiations
• Forecast budgets including capex and opex
• Manage brokers, architects, contractors, landlords, and partners
• Plan office fit-outs from concept to occupancy and optimize layouts
• Ensure records, lease dates, space utilization, and compliance
• Travel internationally to lead site selection and delivery
