Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Real Estate and Facilities Sr. Manager to lead global facilities and workplace services from San Jose, CA. This on-site role requires executive coordination across real estate, IT, security, and operations to drive portfolio performance.

The candidate will oversee budgets, vendor contracts, and cross-functional initiatives while enabling sustainable, compliant facilities worldwide.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in facilities, office services, or corporate operations.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multi-site or global teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Transaction Management program, negotiating lease terms.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site evaluations for locations and refurbishments.
• Lead annual operational budget development and cost-control strategies.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring transparency and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with lease terms, codes, sustainability goals, and safety regulations.
• Manage domestic and international service providers, contractors, and contracts.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with IT, security, and workplace and lab engineering.
• Support global expansion, relocations, and renovations with project teams.
• Lead RFP processes and manage external vendors, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Integrate sustainable construction practices and green building certifications (LEED).
