Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of compliance experience in pharma or biotech.
• Experience supporting R&D in global pharma operations.
• Knowledge of laws: False Claims Act, Anti-kickback, FCPA, HIPAA, GDPR.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Serves as strategic business partner and risk advisor to R&D and Tech Ops across all countries and therapeutic areas, providing regular updates on compliance risk areas, mitigation strategies, and dashboards evidencing program effectiveness.
• Provides compliance advice and support to the R&D and Tech Ops, including identifying, mitigating and managing fraud and abuse and kickback risks in clinical trial and development activities.
• Ethical decision-making in clinical trial protocol, strategy, and design, and trade sanctions related risks.
• Coordinates with Senior Compliance Officer, Global Policies, Education, and Investigations to develop global compliance and ethics policies and training materials for R&D and Tech Ops.
• Regularly conduct compliance training.
• Coordinate with Monitoring, Auditing, and Third-Party Risk Management to design and implement an effective monitoring and audit program for R&D and Tech Ops, focusing on CRO and partner oversight.
• As a key member of the Ethics, Compliance, and Privacy lead team, drive consistency in approach across the company.
• Stays informed on new laws and industry trends and updates compliance controls accordingly.
• Collaborates with Legal to support R&D and Tech Ops.
• Willingly assists colleagues with cross-area projects to balance workloads.
