Job summary

Spectrum Brands' Home & Personal Care Appliances division is seeking a senior quality leader to own the global QA system and regulatory governance for its broad range of consumer products including Black+Decker, Remington, Russell Hobbs, George Foreman. The role is based in Middleton, WI and directs regional teams across Europe, Asia, and the Americas to ensure product safety and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) required.
10+ years of quality/operations experience.
Experience with consumer products and related design/manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated leadership of ISO 13485 quality management system implementation preferred.
Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements across NA, Europe and Asia.

Responsibilities

Own global Quality Assurance System as the single global process owner for quality standards, procedures, metrics and escalation.
Lead regional quality/regulatory teams (EMEA, LATAM, APAC) and set strategic direction for PEC governance.
Ensure product quality metrics are established and achieved for new products.
Oversee quality control activities by contract labs and contract manufacturers.
Drive year-on-year reduction in cost of quality and ensure compliance with retailer documentation requirements.
