Job summary

MSA Safety is seeking an experienced Quality leader to standardize manufacturing quality across sites, drive QMS improvements and lead cross-site initiatives. You will oversee PFMEA, Control Plans, root-cause investigations and implement best practices globally while coaching teams on new product introductions and site transfers.

The role requires strong strategic thinking, lean experience, and excellent communication skills to influence in a matrix and multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, business or related field.
• 8–10+ years of quality experience in manufacturing, with 2+ years in staff leadership.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and ISO 9001.
• Experience leading global quality systems and cross-site standardization.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead standardization of KPIs for manufacturing quality across sites.
• Coordinate quality processes: PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, 8D investigations.
• Promote QMS improvements and drive global best practices.
• Build inter-site quality collaboration and swift issue resolution.
• Coach on product industrialization and New Product Introduction deliverables.
• Maintain change control and ensure quality during site transfers.
• Develop proactive quality culture and poke yoke solutions to reduce risk.
• Drive digitization and Quality 4.0 initiatives with partnering functions.
• Manage internal audit program and ensure timely documentation updates.
• Support hiring and development of quality talent across plants.
