Job summary

MSA, The Safety Company seeks a Global Quality Management System Lead to drive the global QMS strategy, governance, and continuous improvement. The role focuses on standardization, audit leadership, and training across regions to ensure compliance with standards and company policies.

The position requires collaboration with Manufacturing Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, and other functions to embed QMS into business processes and strengthen quality globally.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CQE, CMQ/OE, CQA, Lean Six Sigma Green/Belt or Black Belt are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the global QMS to ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Lead internal audits, supervise audit planning, execution, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate external certification, surveillance, and regulatory audits and act as primary contact for external auditors.
• Establish QMS governance, process ownership, and accountability across regions, sites, and functions.
• Lead continual improvement initiatives based on QMS performance, audit findings, and risk assessments.
• Partner with regional Quality leaders to implement QMS requirements and resolve inconsistencies in execution.
