Job summary

Moog Space and Defense Group is seeking an Offshore Quality Assurance Engineer for an onsite role in Blacksburg, VA. You will report to the Offshore Value Stream Manager and travel up to 50% internationally, coordinating with customers and internal teams to ensure quality across motion control and electronic components.

The role emphasizes leadership, self-starting in a team manufacturing environment, and experience with process control and Six Sigma tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field OR Bachelor's degree with relative work experience in a manufacturing environment OR an associate degree with 3 years of related experience in a manufacturing role.

Responsibilities

• Work with confidential information and maintain document integrity.
• Use statistical/ Six Sigma tools to analyze quality data and drive preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation and test procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers and vendors to resolve quality issues.
