Job summary

Plastpro, Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to lead day-to-day procurement, coordinate material orders, and manage supplier relationships to support manufacturing needs.

You will supervise the purchasing team, implement process improvements, and ensure timely deliveries by coordinating with internal teams and international suppliers, including China and Taiwan. Proficiency with Excel and ERP/MRP systems, strong negotiation skills, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in purchasing or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Experience with raw materials and international suppliers.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency preferred for supplier communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day purchasing of materials, components, equipment and services.
• Coordinate inventory-related purchasing with international suppliers in China and Taiwan.
• Review requirements and issue purchase orders per guidelines.
• Monitor open orders, lead times and delivery schedules.
• Coach and supervise purchasing team members and processes.
• Analyze pricing, supplier performance and drive cost savings.
