Job summary

Plastpro in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to oversee day-to-day purchasing activities and supervise the purchasing team. You will manage material orders, coordinate supplier communication with China and Taiwan, and ensure on-time delivery to support manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities include issuing purchase orders, following up with suppliers, maintaining records, and implementing process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in purchasing or supply chain.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with international suppliers, especially China and Taiwan.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP or purchasing systems.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing of materials, orders and PO administration.
• Coordinate China and Taiwan supplier relationships and lead times.
• Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
• Supervise purchasing team and provide coaching.
• Maintain purchasing records and ERP data.
