Job summary

Nexus Brands Group is seeking a Purchasing Agent in Chandler, AZ to oversee procurement activities at our distribution center. The role emphasizes coordinating domestic and international purchasing, maintaining inventory, and working with accounts payable on payments.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in purchasing, with ERP experience and strong organizational skills. Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a hourly pay range of $24-$26.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree; 2+ years in purchasing and inventory management.
• 1-2 years working with an ERP system.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; basic computer skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, high volume environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Must work M-F 8a-5p.
• Ability to show up on time to scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to procurement.
• Executes international and/or domestic purchasing and logistics from intent to delivery.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels through forecasting, planning and PO execution.
• Manages third party logistics and resolves issues with vendors and logistics partners.
• Advise vendors on price, availability, delivery, and warranty details.
• Communicate status of purchases and inventory with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to authorize payments for purchases.
• Implement and monitor procurement reporting systems.
