Job summary

Volvo Construction Equipment is seeking a collaborative, results-oriented student intern to support QSCC objectives at our Shippensburg site. You will work with global cross-functional teams to analyze supplier delivery, assist with critical issues, and help with direct material costing and RFQs.

Applicants must be enrolled in a related degree program, have completed at least 30 credits, and maintain a GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field.
• Completed at least 30 semester hours prior to start date.
• Minimum GPA 2.75.

Responsibilities

• Support QSCC objectives with supply partners.
• Assist execution of commodity strategies for the Shippensburg site.
• Research supplier invoices and discrepancies against pricing.
• Issue RFQs to approved suppliers and place production/prototype orders.
• Support strategic projects and cross-functional supplier relations.
