Job summary

Magna Powertrain is seeking a strategic finance leader to own Global Purchasing finance in the United States. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost-saving initiatives across the global supply base.

You will partner with IT to automate tools, lead supplier risk governance, and integrate ESG objectives into sourcing decisions, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field; master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in auto industry; powertrain experience preferred.
• Experience in purchasing (cost savings, spend, risk management).
• Strong Excel, SAP and Power BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership for Global Purchasing.
• Drive financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Lead cost savings and supplier risk management initiatives.
