Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Global Public Interest Law Counsel to join its Global Legal Compliance team in Washington DC. The role focuses on leading regulatory responses to political activity, lobbying disclosures, and ESG-related compliance, while advising on CSR initiatives and engagement with government organizations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years across government, private practice, or in-house, and expertise in ESG regulations and political law.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in the United States.
• 5+ years of relevant experience across government, private practice and/or in-house.
• Understanding of ESG regulations, business and human rights frameworks, and political laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory responses related to political activity and lobbying disclosures.
• Advise on ESG compliance, governance, due diligence and CSR initiatives.
• Monitor ESG regulatory developments and advise on policy implications.
• Develop and maintain political law and ESG compliance policies and controls.
• Provide strategic regulatory support for CSR partnerships and government engagements.
• Deliver compliance training and communications to raise awareness.
