Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ combined years in political campaigns, government, or public affairs with major corp, agency or trade association.
• Experience in capitals or US and international environments preferred.
• Proven track record translating public affairs into measurable business results.
• Experience managing external agencies and campaign budgets with accountability for results.
• Familiarity with PAC operations and corporate political activity compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and build a high-performance team of six direct reports and multiple external agencies to strengthen brand and reputation among policymakers.
• Develop and execute proactive, integrated public affairs strategies and content aligning with policy objectives and business priorities.
• Oversee PAC and policy association engagement with a clear giving strategy and alignment with advocacy priorities.
• Direct grassroots and grasstops advocacy mobilizing customers and employees in support of policy objectives.
• Build durable relationships with senior leaders across LCPO and related teams to align public affairs with business outcomes.
• Translate complex policy topics into accessible narratives for policymakers, advocacy groups, think tanks and media.
• Identify opportunities and creative tactics to meet Intuit's objectives.
• Strengthen message discipline across Public Affairs, Government Affairs, Legal and partners.
• Identify and remove friction to increase velocity in delivering for global stakeholders.
