ASME has an opportunity for an Intern to join our Global Public Affairs group in the Washington, DC office, where you will support our Government Relations team and the ASME Federal Fellows program. You will engage with Fellows and alumni, assist with policy research and communications, and help coordinate events and outreach to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in an accredited college, pursuing a degree in Political Science/Government or related fields, with strong written/oral

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Political Science / Government or related field.
• Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Washington, DC and be available 20-25 hours per week.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel is required.
• Exemplary written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate program activities and events for the ASME Global Public Affairs group, including Policy Impact events, Town Halls, and Congressional Briefings.
• Assist with outreach to ASME stakeholders across government, academia, and industry.
• Support policy research, advocacy initiatives, and communications activities.
• Manage administrative and operational aspects of the ASME Federal Fellows program.
