Qualifications

  • JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in New York or Washington, DC, in good standing.
  • 2+ years of substantive experience in finance-related transactional work.
  • Experience in project finance, energy, natural resources, infrastructure, and/or private equity transactions preferred.
  • Exposure to domestic and cross-border financings, including acquisition and development financings.
  • Prior experience at a top-tier U.S. or international law firm preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex transactions; client-relations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Advise sponsors, lenders, investors, and developers on project finance and infrastructure transactions
  • Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary financing documentation
  • Support transactions across the energy, power, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors, including renewables
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale domestic and international matters
  • Manage transactional workflows from diligence through closing

A leading international AmLaw 50 firm is seeking Associate to Counsel-level attorneys to join its Global Projects, Energy & Infrastructure Finance practice in New York or Washington, D.C. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a highly regarded, market-leading group that advises on some of the world’s most complex and high-profile project finance and infrastructure transactions across the energy, natural resources, and private capital sectors.

Candidate Profile
  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in New York or Washington, D.C., in good standing.
  • 2+ years of substantive experiencein finance-related transactional work
