Job summary

Winston Taylor LLP is seeking a Project Manager for its PMO to lead medium to high complexity initiatives across the firm’s global footprint. You will partner with staff and attorneys to scope, plan, and manage projects such as business process improvements, IT implementations, and business development initiatives.

You will serve as the liaison between customers and technical teams, drive progress, and help define and deliver project outcomes that align with the firm’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3+ years of project management experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Must live within a commutable distance to a firm office with ability to come into the office 3-4 days per week.
• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong leadership, prioritization, and organization skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly.
• Experience with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and organizational integrations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document business requirements with a focus on improving effectiveness and efficiency.
• Lead and facilitate project meetings across stakeholders and PMO leadership.
• Prepare charters and plans, delivering within scope and timelines.
• Identify risks, manage scope changes, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Drive decision-making and escalation among stakeholders and leadership.
• Improve project management methodologies and tools across the firm.
• Recommend technological and business solutions based on project requirements.
• Develop and maintain project objectives, scope, and work plans for software and business processes.
• Communicate status and progress of all projects; ensure deliverables meet requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate with QA and BA to resolve defects and ensure project success.
• Coordinate rollout to users with documentation and demonstrations.
• Understand integrations across Firm applications/systems.
• Research and learn new technologies to stay current.
