Job summary

The Project Manager at Vertiv will lead large, global, cross-functional programs in modular data center infrastructures, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, and other teams to optimize time to market. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder communications across regions.

Responsibilities include status reporting, resource planning, and driving continuous improvement while aligning projects with strategic business goals. Travel 15-25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial) preferred.
• Five years’ progressive experience leading teams or projects across multiple functions.
• 3+ years’ in a full cycle project management role.
• Experience managing multiple large-scale projects from inception to closure.
• Experience in AC Power products or commercial building construction (data center preferred).
• PMP certification preferred.
• Strong Project Planning & Organizational Skills.
• Excellent presentation skills; comfortable presenting to groups at all levels.
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and change leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, execute, and complete large, complex, global projects; monitor activities from initiation through delivery.
• Plan and execute scope, schedule, budgeting, costing, resource, risk and issue management.
• Assess project health, forecast risk, and develop mitigation plans to maintain the project plan.
• Create effective written status reports and deliver verbal updates to stakeholders.
• Engage stakeholders with timely, relevant, and transparent project status.
• Identify resources with management to staff projects adequately.
• Direct activities of project team members and balance workload to meet objectives.
• Contribute to process development by coordinating design and manufacturing execution.
• Conduct lessons learned meetings at project end.
