Overview
Join Roche, a global health company dedicated to preventing, stopping, and curing diseases. As a Global Project Manager (GPM) within the Project Management Chapter, you will manage product delivery from concept to completion, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end delivery: planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and progress tracking.
- Create integrated plans with clear dependencies and resource allocation.
- Select and apply appropriate methodologies (Agile, hybrid, traditional) and execute project processes.
- Lead meetings, facilitate knowledge sharing, build team dynamics, and coach team members.
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders (Finance, Portfolio, Functions) to optimize delivery.
- Establish KPIs/OKRs, measure progress, and report results to leadership.
- Identify risks and bottlenecks, analyze implications, propose solutions, and communicate issues proactively.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and develop team capabilities.
Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in hardware product development and product care projects.
- Experience with Agile development practices and mindset.
- 1+ year in a regulated industry (e.g., FDA 21 CFR part 820, ISO 13485, ISO 9001).
- Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, able to drive decisions and communicate proactively with stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Planisware, MS Office, G‑Suite, and project tools such as Trello, LucidChart, Smartsheet, Jira, ADO.
- Experience managing complex projects with ambitious milestones.
- Strategic and tactical thinking, ability to transfer knowledge across projects, programs or lifecycles.
- Knowledge of Design Control, phased development processes, healthcare quality, risk, and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Experience
- Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
- 6+ years of project management experience in diagnostics and medical device hardware product development.
- Leading SAFe, SAFe for HW or equivalent Scaled Agile certifications.
- PMP certification.
- Experience collaborating with external partners on R&D development projects.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $87,900–$163,200 (Tucson, AZ). Additional discretionary annual bonus possible. Benefits are available as described in the company policy.
