Job summary

The role requires a technical degree with 4+ years in PM, strong communication, and proven ability to manage customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 4+ years of project management experience.
• Supervisory or team-leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Strong written and oral communication with all levels of management and customers.
• Proven ability to lead customer communication and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and develop project managers, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Establish project management best practices, tools, and processes for consistency and efficiency.
• Allocate project resources, balance workload, and provide strategic direction for program deliverables.
• Oversee complex new product development and sustaining engineering projects with schedule and quality objectives.
• Ensure project scope and objectives are clearly defined and communicated to stakeholders.
• Monitor major deliverables, milestones, and gate assessments.
• Serve as senior communication interface for status, schedules, risks, and requirements.
• Support customer expectations management and strong customer relationships.
• Support scheduling and tracking of significant projects across global sites.
• Communicate updates to functional leadership and executives.
• Drive decisions to optimize time-to-market and profitability.
• Promote adherence to Strategic Development Process and operational readiness.
• Provide technical guidance across global teams to overcome execution challenges.
• Ensure proper setup of systems for ordering, manufacturing, and launching new products.
• Lead risk management activities and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Foster accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within PMO.
