Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to own the project control activity globally and drive common specifications and processes for project implementation.

The role will execute planning and execution activities with some autonomy, while following standard practices and procedures. You will contribute to technical leadership and interface with multiple groups, including customers and partners, and develop deep knowledge in a technical discipline.

Qualifications

• Requires advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Customer Project Engineering.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma with relevant experience) or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage scope of work, schedule, and monitor engineering activities for customer projects.
• Provide technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, GE Product Engineering, Sourcing, and subcontractors.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and execute policy/strategy.
• Use judgment to propose solutions within or outside set parameters under guidance.
• Possess interpersonal skills suitable for an individual contributor or early people leader role.
