Job summary

Emerson Electric Co. is seeking a Project Engineer for our Stafford, TX or McKinney, TX locations. You will collaborate with sales, product, engineering, and finance teams to translate customer needs into executable project plans while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

You will review proposals, manage pricing, and coordinate contracts, working within a multi-stakeholder environment. Travel up to 15% supports domestic and international sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally (including Mexico, US regions).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Project Proposals: Review project proposals, including handling quotation submittals and pricing considerations.
• Facilitate Communication: Liaison between sales channels and the company for projects involving multi-regulator customers.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work with sales managers, product managers, engineering, planners, buyers, manufacturing, and finance to meet customer requirements and deliver solutions.
• Technical and Industry Proficiency: Understand complex customer specifications and be proficient in ASME and ASTM standards.
• Manage Pricing and Contracts: Coordinate pricing and contractual documents with customers or suppliers, reviewing terms and conditions.
