Job summary

Hatch in Gary, IN is seeking a Site Project Controls Lead to oversee estimating, cost management, planning and scheduling within an integrated engineering team. You will drive EPCM project controls delivery across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a post-secondary engineering degree with 5+ years in management and 10+ years in project environments, strong communication and leadership skills, and proven ability to work under pressure within high-value EPCM settings.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in engineering or equivalent related experience.
• 5+ years in a managerial role with at least 10 years in a project environment.
• Extensive experience in Estimating, Cost Control, Planning and Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in high-value, multi-discipline EPCM projects from inception to close-out.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and reports project cost information, budgets, expenditures and forecasts.
• Directs project controls resources to meet objectives and timelines.
• Mentors the project controls team with required skills and deliverables.
• Prepares set-up plans, assigns staff and conducts kick-off meetings.
• Confirms progress measurement, earned value and progress reporting.
• Validates control plans and distributes updates to the Project Manager.
• Manages reporting cadence, content formats and calendars.
