Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Site Project Controls Lead in Salt Lake City, UT to guide cost management, planning and reporting for complex EPCM projects. You will oversee budgets, forecasts, and earned value while coordinating a team of controls professionals.

The role requires a strong background in project controls within high-value multi-discipline environments, excellent communication, and the ability to deliver under pressure in a global spread organization.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in engineering or a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in a managerial position within a project environment.
• 10+ years’ experience in Estimating, Cost Control, Planning and Quantity Surveying.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains and reports project cost information, including budgets, commitments, expenditure, forecast and variance on direct costs and indirect costs.
• Manages project control resources and directs subordinates to meet objectives.
• Mentors Project Controls staff and ensures necessary skills are available.
• Prepare set-up plan, assign project controls staff and conduct kick-off.
• Confirm progress measurement and earned value methodology and initiate progress reporting.
• Verify project controls execution plan and distribute to stakeholders.
• Initiate periodic reporting and manage the project reporting calendar.
