Job summary

Corning is seeking a Program Manager to lead large, global engineering initiatives across the United States, Mexico, China, and Poland. The role focuses on Capacity Expansion and potential leadership across Automation, NPI, and Cost Reduction programs.

The candidate will drive alignment across cross-functional teams, secure funding, and communicate strategy and risks to senior leadership in a globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years of program management, project management, engineering, manufacturing, or technical operations experience.
• Experience leading programs involving capital projects above $10M, manufacturing operations, or technical implementation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage programs with global scope across the United States, Mexico, China, and Poland; provide program leadership across automation, NPI, and cost reduction projects.
• Translate opportunities into clear program strategies, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and execution plans.
• Lead efforts to secure capital funds for large-scale programs using Corning tools and processes.
• Prepare executive-level communications on strategies, risks, and key decisions for the Division Executive Leadership Team.
• Establish strong program governance with milestone reviews, risk management, and performance metrics.
• Lead large, high-impact engineering programs and teams (10+ members) focusing on Capacity Expansion.
