Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Global Program Manager to act as a strategic partner to Product Team leaders, guiding the development and implementation of global, cross-functional project plans aligned with the program strategy.

The role supports drug development and commercialization activities for pipeline and inline products, reporting to the Sr Director of Global Program Management. It involves governance, risk management, and collaboration with external partners.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications include a Doctorate with 2+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 4+ years or a Bachelor’s with 6+ years or an Associate’s with 10+ years or a high school diploma with 12+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with functional leads to develop integrated cross-functional plans aligned with the overall program strategy.
• Ensure cross-functional alignment and accountability across work package teams.
• Facilitate resource planning, financial and capacity assessments as needed.
• Conduct risk management and contingency planning to mitigate program risks.
• Coordinate activities with external partners and alliances to drive successful outcomes.
