Job summary

Alexion Pharma Spain S.L. in Boston, MA seeks a Senior Director, Global Program Team Leader to provide strategic direction and lead global drug development for a late-stage asset with potential multiple indications.

You will own the program, chair the Global Project Team, align indications, and drive integrated development plans, milestones, and regulatory strategies across functions and partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in drug development in pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, or biotechnology.
• Demonstrated experience leading development of at least one development candidate.
• Experience leading drug development projects in a global matrix organization.
• Ability to influence regulatory, scientific and commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to GPTs to ensure clear goals and robust development plans.
• Own the asset strategy, including indication sequencing and regulatory/CMC strategy.
• Lead and chair the Global Project Team to align plans across indications and functions.
• Ensure milestones are met and communicate progress to senior management.
• Build alliance within the organization to support program success.
