Job summary

The U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) in Rockville, MD, seeks a Program Delivery and Business Development Manager to oversee a portfolio of donor-funded projects, develop workplans, monitor budgets, and manage proposal development with cross-functional teams.

This role reports to the Senior Director and requires five years of project management experience, including donor-funded programs, plus strong written and verbal communication; willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of project management experience with at least three (3) years focused on donor-funded programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing business development processes.
• Monitoring and evaluation experience with donor-funded projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage donor-funded projects across global health and domestic programs.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and develop workplans.
• Monitor budgets and deliverables; produce progress reports.
• Manage consultants and partners per donor rules.
• Represent USP with donors and partners; ensure records management.
• Lead proposal management, coordinating calendars and reviews.
• Draft proposal sections and support client engagement.
• Improve PD/BD tools and processes; develop new resources.
• Identify additional resources to meet commitments.
