Job summary

USP, the U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention, seeks a Senior Director, Global Programs (Regulatory and Laboratory) to lead growth across regulatory and laboratory programming. You will develop strategic partnerships and oversee a global team, shaping opportunities in the United States and internationally.

You will interface with funders, align offerings to market needs, and represent USP as a thought leader in regulatory spaces, with travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a scientific/regulatory field.
• Minimum 5 years regulatory experience with stringent authorities.
• Minimum 10 years in GxP guidelines/regulations.
• Experience with WHO regulatory processes.
• Minimum 5 years international scope.
• 7–9 years of people management experience.
• Willingness to travel 25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously adjust USP’s growth strategy for regulatory and laboratory programming.
• Interface with external and internal stakeholders to understand regulatory trends and customer needs.
• Align USP offerings to meet needs and develop new regulatory/laboratory offerings.
• Represent USP as a thought leader in external forums and lead a global team across Africa and Asia.
• Provide input to funding proposals and lead proposal development for regulatory programs.
• Manage and deploy a global team to support growth and program implementation.
