Job summary

Emerson seeks a strategic sustainability leader to drive design strategies across the company, reducing emissions and enhancing product circularity. You will oversee the global Product Carbon Footprint program and partner with supply chain and engineering teams to implement impactful actions.

You will advance internal PCF methodologies, communicate results externally, and collaborate with external experts to stay ahead in industry trends while leading multiple initiatives globally.

Qualifications

• Education in engineering or environmental science or related field.
• 5–7 years of work experience in product design/management.
• Experience leading teams or in a managerial role.
• Experience with Life Cycle Assessment / PCF methodologies and tools.
• Ability to convey complex sustainability topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainable product and packaging design strategies across the company.
• Oversee Product Carbon Footprint program and reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to reduce emissions and improve circularity.
• Develop and improve internal methodologies and external communication collateral for PCF.
• Engage with external experts and partners to stay current with industry trends.
• Support sales and marketing in communicating sustainability results.
