Turtlebox Audio LLC in Houston seeks a Product Safety & Compliance Manager to own all regulatory certifications and product safety requirements. You’ll work with Engineering and the QEM to shape regulatory roadmaps, manage labs, and ensure compliance throughout product development.

Finds opportunities to improve processes, scale the compliance function, and ensure shipments meet global requirements. Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Competenze

• 6+ years of experience in product safety, compliance, or regulatory affairs
• Ownership of compliance programs, not just support
• Knowledge of FCC Part 15, CE marking, UL/IEC safety standards, and global wireless certifications
• Battery and power safety compliance experience (UN 38.3, IEC 62133)
• Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and work with labs and suppliers

• Own regulatory compliance across the product line
• Manage certification activities with labs and schedule testing
• Integrate compliance requirements into early product development
• Maintain DoCs, technical files, test reports, and certifications
• Oversee manuals and packaging compliance
• Ensure packaging and literature meet market-specific requirements
• Lead documentation processes and accessibility for the team
• Coordinate safety investigations and regulatory notifications
