Job summary
AMD is seeking a Supply Chain Product Planner to influence across functions and regions, driving accurate NPI launch preparedness, supply plans, and cost/benefit analysis.
The role requires proactive inventory management, data accuracy, and executive-level presentation skills to streamline processes and push automation. You will collaborate with Finance, Engineering, and Business Units to ensure timely delivery and optimize inventory health.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering / Operations or Business preferred.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
Responsibilities
- Analyze supply-demand matching using MRP systems to drive corrections.
- Review MRP inputs with owners for data accuracy (Yield, BOM, Capacity).
- Provide inventory forecast insights and improve product health.
- Recommend demand shaping opportunities to meet business goals.
- Represent Product Planning and articulate supply and inventory plans at cross-functional meetings.
- Drive disposition of inactive/hold inventory with BU, Finance and Inventory Management.
- Manage NPI constraints to align schedule dates with production requirements.
- Meet with Central Planning to identify BOM connections/disconnections.
