Job summary

Jasco, based at the Corporate Office in Oklahoma City, OK, seeks an experienced Product Manager to guide product lines from conception through end of life and develop merchandising strategies. You will support sales/marketing with materials and work cross-functionally across departments.

The role requires market research, supplier negotiation, and coordination with internal teams, including training Sales Staff and providing marketing copy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or business or related field required.
• Two years of experience in product development or related area.
• Knowledge of direct importing, legal requirements, and country production variances.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Presents product and merchandising strategies.
• Assists sales and marketing with presentation materials and related marketing assets.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with other departments.
• Performs market research, supplier evaluation, initial order placement, and follow-up; travels to Asia 1–3x/yr.
• Communicates with suppliers as needed.
• Develops product and merchandising strategies, competitive analysis, and supporting marketing materials.
• Assists Sales Force with presentation and implementation of merchandising plans.
• Provides training and technical support to Sales Staff, Customer Service, Marketing, and Purchasing.
• Ensures product testing/quality and negotiate for defectives or hold-harmless agreements.
• Participates in U.S. trade shows as needed.
• Travel to Asia is required.
