Job summary

Apex Tool Group is seeking a Global Product Manager for Industrial Fastening Systems based in Westhausen, Germany. You will drive the international product portfolio through market analysis, product definition, launches and ongoing optimization, coordinating with Sales, Engineering and Marketing across borders.

You will lead pricing/positioning strategies, analyze performance, and train sales teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in product management in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Experience developing and launching technical products.

Global Product Manager, Industrial Fastening Systems - DE - Westhausen

Summary

As Global Product Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the international product portfolio of industrial fastening systems used in manufacturing and assembly environments. You will manage the complete product life cycle, from market analysis and product definition to product launch and ongoing portfolio optimization. Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and international stakeholders, you will ensure that our products meet customer needs and contribute to sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the global product portfolio throughout its entire life cycle
• Identify market trends, customer requirements, and growth opportunities
• Conduct market, competitor, and customer analyses to support strategic decision-making
• Define product requirements in close cooperation with customers, Sales, and Engineering
• Actively contribute to international product development projects and product launches
• Develop pricing and product positioning strategies to strengthen competitiveness and profitability
• Analyze sales performance, market developments, and product profitability, deriving appropriate recommendations for action
• Collaborate with Marketing to support successful product launches and promotional activities
• Deliver product training sessions for sales teams, channel partners, and customers
• Support the continuous improvement and expansion of the product portfolio
• Travel internationally and domestic as required (approximately 30%)

Critical Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in product management, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Experience managing the development and market introduction of technical products
• Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing and automation technologies
• Work experience in industrial automation a plus
• Experience working in cross-functional and international teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in English; German language skills are considered an advantage
