Job summary

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Counsel in its Litigation group. The preferred location is Midland, MI, but Houston, TX will also be considered.

Your assignment will include litigation management for Dow and its affiliated companies, including asbestos personal injury and other product liability matters. You will independently provide legal counsel to clients, review and draft documents, manage external counsel, oversee discovery, set case strategy, and participate in key depositions,

Qualifications

• Juris doctor or Master of Laws required.
• Minimum 7 years of attorney practice.
• Admission to State Bar or eligible for admission.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% annually; US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to clients independently.
• Manage external counsel and experts.
• Review and draft legal documents.
• Oversee discovery and coordinate with internal teams.
• Set case strategy and docket direction.
• Participate in key depositions, hearings and trials.
