Job summary

Wanzl North America (WNA) seeks a Sr. Project Manager to lead cross-functional product development projects, manage scope, schedule, and budgets, and govern PM processes across the global network.

The role requires coordinating teams across Europe, China, and North America and bringing together stakeholders to deliver complex programs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in durable goods, injection molding tooling, metalworking, welding, and production, with proven ability to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical field.
• 6+ years of practical project management experience; 3+ years in Product Development.
• PMP certification and/or MBA preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with plastic injection tooling and production preferred.
• Proactive, independent, and strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
• Create project plans with deliverables, timelines and budgets.
• Anticipate problems and plan accordingly.
• Ensure milestones are met through oversight of resources.
• Coordinate PM activities across the Wanzl global network.
• Create and deliver presentations to customers and leadership, including Germany.
• Lead stakeholder communication through project lifecycle.
• Provide status reports and updates on demand.
• Direct project timelines and budgets.
• Assess and escalate risks and issues as needed.
• Maintain PM documentation and standards.
