Job summary

Gentex is seeking a Product Compliance Manager to lead global regulatory programs for assigned product lines, ensuring adherence to UNECE, ISO, and EU directives.

You will supervise inspectors, partner with Legal, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management, and maintain audit-ready documentation while guiding product certifications and third-party listings.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or business and 5+ years of compliance experience, with travel and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of product compliance, regulatory, or related experience.
• Experience with global regulatory frameworks (UNECE, CCC, IMDS, AIS, VSTD, ISO, EU directives).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting audits, inspections, or certification processes.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and compliance/documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution and continuous improvement of product compliance programs.
• Interpret and apply regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable guidance.
• Oversee regulatory submissions, product certifications, and third-party listings.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on products and documentation.
• Review ECOs, product changes, and technical docs for compliance.
• Provide technical and regulatory support to internal stakeholders and customers.
