Job summary

JM Eagle, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Specialist to supervise staff involved in external procurement of raw materials, parts, equipment, supplies, and services, and to oversee vendor relations.

The role requires evaluating bids, approving requisitions, negotiating contracts, monitoring supplier performance, and implementing purchasing procedures to optimize cost and delivery. Strong MS Office skills and experience in supply chain management are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and 3–5 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• Bilingual (English/ Mandarin) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff involved in external procurement of raw materials, parts, equipment, supplies and services.
• Maintain vendor relations and negotiate contracts for complex purchase orders.
• Review requisitions for accuracy; approve and assign to staff for processing.
• Monitor delivery status and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
• Review bids, ensure adherence to procedures, and recommend vendors for bidding.
• Analyze purchasing trends and forecast demand to minimize costs.
• Train and evaluate employee performance.
• Maintain records for purchase orders, invoices and receiving.
