Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Procurement and Global Supply Chain Intern to support sourcing, purchasing, subcontract management, and supplier coordination in a fast-paced program environment.

You will gain hands-on experience in cost and lead-time optimization, ERP systems usage, and regulatory compliance including FAR/DFARS. US citizenship is required. This internship provides exposure to Booz Allen’s diverse procurement functions and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business-related field by Spring 2027.
• Basic understanding of procurement processes and documentation.
• Familiarity with procurement regulations such as FAR/DFARS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and issuing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and sourcing documentation.
• Support supplier communication, lead times, order status, and delivery updates.
• Help maintain procurement records, data entry, and status tracking within internal systems.
• Conduct basic cost, pricing, or market research to support sourcing decisions.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining supplier scorecards.
• Support compliance with internal procurement policies, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards (FAR/DFARS, if applicable).
• Participate in cross-functional meetings with contracts, finance, and program teams.
• Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities within the supply chain workflow.
